| Kalkaska CARES Teams Up with the Rapid City Winterfest | ||
on Saturday, February 9, 2008, members of the Kalkaska CARES team joined with the Rapid City community and Rapid City Elementary school to bring a preschool literacy component to the annual Rapid City Winterfest. All Kalkaska CARES families in attendance received a free pancake breakfast and were able to participate in several literacy activities. Children received two books:
