On January 29, 2008, over 80 children and their families joined us at the Kaliseum to celebrate Miss Spider's birthday. Miss Spider was very surprised!

Children were offered the opportunity to take part in several literacy activities including:

• Creating a birthday card for Miss Spider.
• Having their picture taken with Miss Spider.
• Making dirt dessert to eat!
• Drawing and telling their own bug story.
• Taking part in an alphabet bug hunt.

Free binoculars and a Miss Spider ABC book were given to the children.
