Literacy is Happening in Miss Butterfield's MSRP Classroom!

Classroom News

Small group time is a special time each day for students to join in activities that explicitly teach them skills that they will need to become successful readers in the future. Miss Butterfield works with students in one group, Mrs. Sanford in another, and a third group works independently. When the activity is completed, the groups switch until all children have been at all three activities.

Mrs. Sanford helps the children cut pictures from magazines for a collage on the five senses. The students are looking for pictures that show the sense of smell.
