Literacy is Happening in Miss Julie's Head Start Classroom!

Classroom News

Reading and writing stories are important parts of our day. The children love writing stories for each other and sharing them. They also enjoy reading with Sammy the Snake. Perhaps most of all they enjoy book look time.

Sammy the Snake loves it when we read alphabet books to him.	Book look time is a favorite part of our day.
We enjoy playing alphabet bingo with goldfish crackers. Miss Makayla is a lot of fun!	More alphabet bingo.
I am writing a story to share with my friends.	When we finish our stories, we get to share them with the class.
I am ready to share the story I wrote with my friends.	Sharing our written stories is fun! We all write about different things.
